Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Firmiq, operated by Midpoint Accounting Group Co. By using Firmiq, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Firmiq is a cloud-based CRM and practice management platform for accounting and tax professionals. We provide tools for client management, invoicing, proposals, document storage, and practice automation.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscription and Payment

Firmiq offers paid subscription plans billed monthly. Fees are charged in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

4. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Firmiq to violate any applicable laws, store or transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or resell the service without permission.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Firmiq. We do not claim any rights to your client data, documents, or business information.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Firmiq's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States.
